Pete Jackson was formerly the chief electrical inspector for the City of Bakersfield, California. He has been a journeyman wireman since 1984 and has earned five electrical inspector certifications through the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) and International Code Council (ICC). Pete serves as an Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) representative to the UL Electrical Council and 37 UL Technical Committees. He also represents enforcement on NEC Code Making Panel 4 and the Correlating Committee for the National Electrical Code. Pete has taught for California building safety organizations and participated in code development for decades bringing a strong ability to connect real-world application with effective code implementation.
