CALBO On Demand provides flexible, self-paced training that allows registrants to complete coursework on their own schedule. Please review the following common questions and answers for information about accessing your CALBO On Demand account, course completion and requirements, earning credits and attendance certificates.
IMPORTANT: CALBO On Demand registrants are responsible for reviewing this information along with their registration confirmation email to ensure all course requirements and deadlines are met.
On Demand vs. Live Training
How is an On Demand course different from a live CALBO Education Week course or live CALBO webinar?
CALBO On Demand courses are self-paced with no scheduled date or time. Courses are completed independently through the registrant’s CALBO On Demand account and must be finished within the one-year access period to receive credits. There are no live instructors present.
Your CALBO On Demand Account
How do I access my CALBO On Demand course(s)?
Within three (3) business days of a registration submission, you will receive an email with log-in instructions for the CALBO On Demand platform. Courses are accessed by logging in at www.learning.calbo.org using the username and password provided by CALBO. After logging in, your course will appear under 'Your Library.'
I did not receive my On Demand log-in email. What should I do?
If you did not receive log-in instructions or need technical assistance, please contact the CALBO Office at info@calbo.org or 916-457-1103.
What internet browser is recommended for On Demand courses?
For the best user experience, use a current version of Chrome with pop-ups enabled and computer audio available for video playback.
How do I find my course(s) on my On Demand account?
Within three (3) business days of a registration submission, your course(s) will be available on your CALBO On Demand account. After logging into the CALBO On Demand platform, select “Your Library” to view all courses assigned to you on your account.
Can I share my On Demand course access with someone else?
No. Access to CALBO On Demand courses is limited to the registrant only and may not be shared. Course progress and completion are tracked through the individual registrant’s On Demand account.
Will more On Demand courses be added?
Yes. CALBO On Demand is designed as a growing library. Additional courses will be added over time to support evolving codes, professional practice and member demand. Please provide feedback about future topics in the "Contact Form" on the home page.
Course Requirements & Deadlines
How long do I have to complete my On Demand course for credits?
All CALBO On Demand courses must be completed within one (1) year from the course registration submission date to receive credits and an attendance certificate. No extensions are granted.
What is required to complete an On Demand course?
All required course modules, assignments, quizzes and evaluation must be completed and submitted by the course completion deadline. Credits are issued only after all requirements are completed and submitted.
Is partial credit available?
No. Partial credit is not granted. All required course modules, assignments, quizzes and evaluation must be completed to receive credits.
What if I do not complete my course within one year?
After the one-year completion period, the course will no longer be eligible for credits or certificate issuance and will be removed from your CALBO On Demand platform account.
Course Progress & Tracking
How is On Demand course completion tracked?
You must be logged into your individual CALBO On Demand account for CALBO to track course progress, module completion and attendance requirements. Registrants are responsible for monitoring their own progress and completion deadlines.
Do I have to complete an On Demand course in one sitting?
No. On Demand courses may be completed over multiple sessions. Your progress is saved as long as you are logged into your CALBO On Demand account.
Can I pause or rewatch On Demand course videos even after I complete the course?
Yes. On Demand course videos may be paused, replayed or reviewed at any time during your one-year course access period.
Course Completion & Attendance Certificates
What happens when I complete an On Demand course?
Once all required course requirements are completed and submitted, you will receive an email confirming course completion. An attendance certificate is issued only after CALBO verifies that all requirements have been met.
What if I don't receive my On Demand course completion confirmation email?
If you do not receive a course completion confirmation email, it typically indicates that one or more course requirements have not yet been fully satisfied, and an attendance certificate will not be issued. Please contact the CALBO Office at info@calbo.org or 916-457-1103.
When will I receive my On Demand attendance certificate?
Attendance certificates are emailed within three (3) business days after course completion has been verified by CALBO staff. Each certificate lists the course title, completion date, course format, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), ICC Preferred Provider Program course number and AIA Learning Units, if applicable.
Course Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
Can I cancel, transfer or extend an On Demand course?
Once an On Demand course has been assigned to a registrant in their CALBO On Demand account, it cannot be cancelled, transferred, refunded or extended. Incomplete courses are not eligible for refunds or credits.
ICC and AIA Course Credit Reporting
How do I request AIA attendance reporting?
To request CALBO to report your On Demand course completion to AIA, please email info@calbo.org with the course title, course completion date and your AIA member number. Only complete requests will be reported.
How do I request ICC attendance reporting?
CALBO asks each registrant to self-report their On Demand course completion on their ICC accounts. Each attendance certificate lists the course title, course format, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and ICC Preferred Provider Program course number to ensure an easy self-reporting process.
